The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of here infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area each day. The service position created for intervention encounters a significant influx of prospective website beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
